This weblog is all about growing and producing a Pinot Noir at home in Kenya.
My father, Richard Leakey and I, now Louise de Merode, have been working on the Pinot Noir for the last 18 years.
But… its really working!
I hope that you will enjoy this weblog about the experiences and excitement of producing a good Kenya wine. It continues to be a process of learning. I feel it is appropriate to share the many experiences we have had with other wine growers and to document where we have come from and what we are doing towards making this a success.
I hope too that this may open new doorways to making our wine be seen, heard and tasted.
